Other brands of visco elastic mattresses (memory foam) can only be used on one side – the other side is made of ordinary basic foam block, which simply supports the top half of the mattress. What this really means is the mattress cannot be flipped – it is a one-sided mattress.

Pressure relief over a wide temperature range

The top graph shows how the MetzoMed®mattress (red line) provides constant pressure relief over a much wider temperature range
(-5°C to +40°C) compared with a conventional mattress (blue line).

Tests conducted by an independent institute in Germany show that MetzoMed®:
• significantly reduces peak pressures and pressure gradients
• evenly distributes body weight
